How it works
The real puzzle, no camera to fight
Underneath, Orbis is a genuine twisty puzzle. A 3x3 here is the same puzzle as a 3x3 in your hand, so a method you already know still works.

Step 1
A cube, laid flat
Each circle is one layer of a real cube. The dots are its stickers, and each one sits where two circles cross, so every piece is in view at once.

Step 2
Turn a circle
Drag along a circle, or press its button on the pad. Its dots slide round together, and the circles it crosses lose a few and gain a few.

Step 3
Bring every face home
Each cluster of dots belongs to one face. When every cluster is a single colour, the cube is solved and the board celebrates.
Nine puzzles
Every cube, laid flat
Each puzzle is a real cuboid, unfolded into circles. 94 levels in all, easiest first, from a single turn to a proper mix.

1x1x2
3 levels
Two halves, four circles. The smallest turn there is.

1x1x3
4 levels
Five circles, one axis. Line up three rings instead of two.

1x2x2
3 levels
A slab. Its faces only turn half way round.

1x2x3
6 levels
Every side a different length, so every turn is a half.

1x3x3
8 levels
One layer of a 3x3, flipping its edges over.

2x2
16 levels
Six circles. The same board with the middle rings taken out.

2x2x3
16 levels
A tower. Its ends turn a quarter, its sides only half.

2x3x3
18 levels
A domino. Two 3x3 faces with a thin band between them.

3x3
20 levels
Nine circles. Turn a cluster and its neighbours give up a row.
Features
Made to be explored
A turn is a drag along a circle, and you can always see why it did what it did.
Everything in view
No hidden back face, no rotating the cube to check. All 54 stickers of a 3x3 are on screen at once.
Drag or tap
Drag along a circle, or use the thumb pad: counter-clockwise under the left thumb, clockwise under the right.
Half turns and slices
Cuboids whose sides can only turn half way get R2 style buttons. The M, E and S slices join from level 11.
Hints that show the way
Stuck? A hint lays out the whole run of turns from where you are to solved, not just the next one.
Undo, always
Unlimited undo and reset, no timer, no fail state. A puzzle should be safe to poke at.
Real cube colours
White opposite yellow, red opposite orange, green opposite blue, each circle drawn in its centre's hue.
Calm by design
Soft turn sounds, a quiet music loop and a tap of haptics, each with its own switch.
Plays offline
No account, no sign-in. Every puzzle works on a plane.
