It is free to install, so you can set it up and see your dragon before you pay anything. After setup, one in-app purchase unlocks the whole app forever. You can also try everything free for three days first, with no payment and nothing to cancel. It is not a subscription, and you are never charged again. This one payment is how the app makes money, so it does not need ads or to sell data.
The SOS craving tools are free for everyone, and your smoke-free clock keeps running whether you pay or not. Apart from the unlock, there are optional purchases (dragon skins and colour themes). They only change how the app looks.
If you smoke a few cigarettes, tap I smoked and choose how many. Your quit continues and your smoke-free clock is not reset. Only your numbers are corrected.
If you are smoking every day again, tap Start a new quit. Your clock starts again from zero, but your total smoke-free time from all your attempts is kept and never goes down. You also keep your badges and your level.

Not if your new phone is the same kind as your old one. On iPhone, your data is included in iCloud backup. On Android, it is included in Android Auto Backup to your Google account. You do not need to do anything.
To move from iPhone to Android, or the other way, open Settings, then Move to a new phone, on your old phone. It creates a .stosmok file. On the new phone, tap Restore from another phone on the first screen and choose that file. More details are in the guide.
Yes, completely, including in airplane mode. Every screen, calculation and animation uses the data already on your phone. The internet is used only for store purchases and optional crash reports.
No. There are no ads, no tracking tools except an optional crash reporter that removes anything you wrote, and no server that stores your data. See the privacy policy for all the details.
No. stosmok is not a medical device and nothing in the app is medical advice. Health timings come from CDC and NHS guidance on quitting smoking and are shown as estimates. If you want medical help to quit, talk to a doctor or a stop-smoking service.
Refunds are handled by the store where you paid, because the store processed the payment. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple's normal refund process. On Android, use your order history in the Google Play Store. stosmok does not process payments itself, so it cannot give refunds directly.
