One purchase, no strings

These terms cover your use of the stosmok app on iOS and Android. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

stosmok gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. On iOS, Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies.

stosmok is free to download. After setting up the app you are offered a single, one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the full app for life. It is not a subscription and it never renews or charges you again.

“For life” means for as long as stosmok is offered in the App Store or Google Play and supports your device. The unlock belongs to the store account you bought it with, and you can restore it on a new device signed in to the same account using “Restore purchase”. Future updates to the app are included.

The SOS craving tools (breathing, distraction, your reasons and the walk timer) are free for everyone, whether or not you buy the unlock. Your smoke-free clock also keeps running either way.

If you set stosmok up while it was sold as a paid download, you already have the full app and are never asked to buy the unlock.

stosmok also sells optional cosmetic items, such as dragon skins and colour themes. They change how the app looks and nothing else. They are one-time purchases and are restored the same way as the unlock. Nothing that helps you stop smoking is sold as a cosmetic.

All payments are processed by Apple or Google, under their terms. stosmok never sees your payment details. Prices are shown in the store before you confirm, and may vary by country.

Refunds are handled by the store you paid through: Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, and Google through your Google Play order history. stosmok cannot issue refunds itself. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

stosmok is a motivational companion, not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Health timings in the app are drawn from CDC and NHS guidance and shown as estimates. For medical support to quit smoking, speak to a doctor or a smoking cessation service. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.

Everything you enter stays on your device. stosmok has no account and no server that stores your information. How the app handles data, including store purchases and optional crash reports, is described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backups, which the app helps you make.

Please do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app or its artwork, or try to get around the unlock. The stosmok name, the dragon and all other artwork remain the property of their creator.

stosmok is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be free of errors or available on every device. To the extent the law allows, stosmok is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it. None of this excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. A change will never take away an unlock or a cosmetic you have already bought.
