1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how anggastudio(“we”, “us”) handles information related to your use of the Paku app (package com.anggastudio.paku) on your device. This policy is effective on 5 November 2026.

Paku is a stud finder, bubble level and angle finder for Android and iOS. There is no server, no user account and no login. Every tool works fully offline.

2. Sensor Data

Paku reads your phone’s magnetic field sensor (magnetometer) and motion sensor (accelerometer) while a tool is open on screen. These readings are processed in memory on your device to show the metal signal, the level and the angle. They are never stored and never sent to us or to anyone else. The app stops reading the sensors when you leave the tool.

Paku does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or files, and asks for no special permissions.

3. What Is Saved on Your Device

A few settings are saved locally so the app remembers them: the stud finder sensitivity, your level calibration, whether you have finished the intro, and how many free scans you have used. They stay on your device and are removed when you uninstall the app.

4. The One Thing That Leaves Your Device

RevenueCat handles in-app purchases (Paku Pro). It uses a random, anonymous app user ID, not an account. RevenueCat receives that ID, purchase and receipt information, and basic device details such as the app version and store country. It never receives sensor readings. 5. Ads, Analytics and Sharing

We do not sell your data. Paku contains no ads, no advertising SDK, no analytics and no crash reporting. The app is distributed through Google Play and the App Store; your use of those stores is subject to each provider’s own privacy policy.

6. In-App Purchases

Paku is free to install. The bubble level is free, and the stud finder includes three free sessions. Paku Pro unlocks unlimited stud finder use and the angle finder, as a weekly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings. All payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled by that store.

7. Safety Notice

Paku detects metal, not wood, and can miss studs or detect wires and pipes. It is a helper, not a guarantee. Always check before drilling, especially near outlets and switches.

8. Children's Privacy

Paku is aimed at a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Because we hold no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to export or delete. Uninstalling the app removes everything it saved. To manage purchase data held by RevenueCat, or for any privacy question, contact us at angga@anggastudio.dev.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will update the date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
