1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how anggastudio ("we", "us") handles information related to your use of the Pixblob app (Android package and iOS bundle ID com.anggastudio.pixblob) on your device. This policy is effective on 17 October 2026.

Pixblob is a single-player pixel-art endless runner. There is no account, no login and no game server. You do not need to sign up to play.

2. Information We Collect and Do Not Collect

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise GPS location, microphone data, or camera data.

Stored on your device: your best distance in each world, gems, the skins and goo trails you own, the worlds you have opened, achievements, your daily challenge record, and settings (sound, music, vibration, reduced motion). This data is never sent to us, and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Cloud save (your own account): a copy of the same progress is kept in your iCloud (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android), so it survives a new phone. It is stored by Apple or Google under your account; we do not receive it.

Processed by third-party services (see section 4): the Android Advertising ID or Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), coarse location estimated from your IP address, device information (model, OS version, app version), interactions with ads, in-app purchase transaction data, and crash reports.

3. How We Use Information

Processed information is used to:

  • run the game and save your progress on the device;
  • display and measure in-app advertising;
  • process in-app purchases (Remove Ads, premium skins and gem packs) and restore them on a new device;
  • detect and fix crashes to improve stability.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services. Each service has its own privacy policy.

  • Google AdMob (advertising): may collect the device advertising ID, coarse location, device information, and interactions with ads to serve and measure ads. Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses information.
  • Google Play Billing (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS): process purchase transactions. Payment is handled by Google or Apple; our app never sees your card details.
  • RevenueCat (purchase management): receives an anonymous user ID created by the app and purchase receipt data, to record what you have bought and restore it. RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
  • Sentry (crash reporting): when the app crashes or hits an error, receives technical data such as device model, OS version, app version, stack traces and a short trail of the last steps in the game (for example a run started or the store opened), and may process your IP address transiently. Reports do not include your name, contacts or advertising ID. Sentry Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising and Advertising ID

The app shows ads through Google AdMob: banners on menu screens (never during a run), an occasional full-screen ad between runs, and rewarded ads that only play when you choose one (for example to continue a run). Ads are limited to a general-audience content rating.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you are asked for consent through Google's consent message before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy Choices inside the game. On iOS, the app asks through App Tracking Transparency before the advertising identifier is used for tracking; the game plays the same either way.

You can reset your Advertising ID or limit ad tracking at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).

6. Sharing a Run

The Share button on the game over screen makes a picture of your run on the device and opens your phone's share sheet. Nothing is sent unless you choose where to share it.

7. Data Storage and Retention

Progress and settings are stored locally on your device. Third-party processors (Google, Apple, RevenueCat, Sentry) retain only the data necessary for their stated purposes, as described in their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with the processors listed above for the stated purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

Pixblob is a general-audience game and not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

We do not operate servers that store user data. If you are a parent and want data related to your child removed: game data on the device is removed by uninstalling the app, and data held by third parties (Google AdMob, Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, Sentry) can be requested from each service directly (see section 4). Contact angga@anggastudio.dev if you need help.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

  • change your ad consent in Settings > Privacy Choices (when it is shown in your region);
  • limit ad tracking or reset your Advertising ID in device settings;
  • remove all progress by uninstalling the app, and its cloud copy in your iCloud or Google Play Games settings;
  • contact us with data questions at angga@anggastudio.dev.

Users in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions with privacy rights generally have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we do not store personal data on our own servers, most of these requests are satisfied by uninstalling the app or adjusting device settings. For requests about data processed by third parties, please use their respective privacy policies.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will update the date at the top of this document.

12. Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to angga@anggastudio.dev.
