How to make a photo booth strip with JemBooth

Tap New project. The picker opens on Presets: every designed theme, ready on the three photo strip it was drawn for, so starting from a finished design is one tap. During an event, such as Thanksgiving until November 30, 2026, its themes come first.

Or browse the layouts by family: Strips, Grids, Single, Polaroid, Stories and Collage. The number under each layout is how many photos it holds. Layouts marked Pro open and edit freely; they only ask for Pro when you save.

Not sure yet? Pick anything. You can change the layout later from the Layout tab and your photos move across, and the look from the Frame tab.

Tap an empty window, then choose Photo booth or From gallery.

• Photo booth counts down, then takes a burst of shots and fills the windows in order. Set the countdown, the number of shots and the flash, and flip between front and back camera.
• From gallery lets you pick several photos at once to fill the layout.

Select a photo in the layout to replace, crop, mirror or reset it. Pinch and drag inside a window to reposition the photo.

Changed your mind? Undo, at the top of the editor, takes back any edit, one step at a time.

The Frame tab shows every theme and frame on your own layout. A designed theme adds artwork above and below the photos, shaped photo windows, a title and a tag for the date, and redraws itself around whatever layout you picked, so any theme fits any layout. The simpler frames set a pattern, outlines around the photos and stickers placed around the edges.

Under the themes, pick a Background color, with the bold colors first, and a Date color. The theme's artwork and title stay as they are.

Select a photo, then open Filter. Each tile previews the look on that photo. Use the intensity slider, or Apply to all to give the whole strip the same look.

Adjust has brightness, contrast, saturation, warmth, vignette and grain for fine tuning, with Apply to all to copy the settings to every photo.

Most layouts print a date under the photos, in your own language and date format. In the Text tab, swap it for a name, an event or a message, or switch the caption off.

Tap Export, choose a format and size, then Save to photos. The sizes:

• Social: screen size, for Instagram, WhatsApp and stories. Free.
• High resolution: full detail for screens.
• Strip print (2x6 inches) and Photo print (4x6 inches): exact photo paper sizes at 300 dpi, ready for any photo lab or photo printer.

Your strip goes into your photo library first. Then a pop-up offers Print, which opens the system print dialog (AirPrint on iPhone), Share and Open Photos.

JPG is smaller and best for sharing; PNG keeps borders and text perfectly sharp. If your strip uses anything Pro, you can go Pro, spend one of your five free Pro exports, or save at free settings.
