Question 1

Is JemBooth free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can make and save strips for free with up to three photos, at social media size, with a small JemBooth mark. Fourteen designed themes are free too, two for every season plus Happy Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, Happy Halloween, Polka Day, Dear Diary and Little Moments. Every Pro layout, theme, frame and filter can be previewed freely, and you get five free Pro exports to try the full thing.

Question 2

What does Pro unlock?

Accepted Answer

The full layout library, including layouts with four photos or more, every designed theme, every frame and filter, print sizes at 300 dpi, and exports without the watermark. Pro is a monthly or annual subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase, through the App Store or Google Play.

Question 3

Can I print my strip?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once your strip is saved, tap Print to send it to a printer through AirPrint on iPhone or the Android print dialog. For a photo lab, JemBooth exports at exactly 2x6 inches for photo booth strips and 4x6 inches for standard prints, at 300 dpi, so the lab can print the file without cropping.

Question 4

What are themes?

Accepted Answer

A theme is the look of your strip: artwork above and below the photos, shaped photo windows, a title and a tag for the date, like the strips from a real photo booth. Pick one in the Frame tab and it redraws itself around whatever layout you chose, so any theme fits any of the 100 layouts. There are 57 designed themes: six for each season, twelve for Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving, eight for Halloween and thirteen everyday ones. All of them ship inside the app, so there is nothing to download, and the current season's themes come first. Fourteen are free, two for every season plus Happy Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, Happy Halloween, Polka Day, Dear Diary and Little Moments. To start from a ready-made design, open the Presets tab when you start a project: each theme is set up on the three photo strip it was drawn for.

Question 5

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. There is no sign up. Your projects and photos are stored on your phone and never uploaded.

Question 6

Does it work offline?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Shooting, editing and exporting all work without a connection. The network is only used for purchases, optional crash reports and downloading new layouts and frames.

Question 7

Is JemBooth on iPhone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. JemBooth is on the App Store for iPhone with iOS 15 or later, and on Google Play for Android 7 or later.

Question 8
